Winds variable, small air and inclining to the East, and flattering weather. Saw Brig to the Northward standing to the Southward, in Steering sails, tacked to the N. E. Wind S. S. E. Calm and Clouding, Clewed all up. Small Air from the N. E. Wind N. B. E., variable and flattering, swell from the S. E. Quarter, in T. G. Sails. Wind E. B. N. Pleasant weather and small Air of Wind, set T. G. sails. Distance 35. Lat. observed 39.9. Long. 64.5.
