Wind W. S. W. Light air of Wind, thick foggy Weather, swell from the N. W. Wind variable and flattering to the Northward, in Royals and T. G. Steering Sails. In Steering Sails and set Stay Sails fore and aft, the wind inclining to the N. E. A sail to the S. W. a Snow, which we take to be the Mercury Packet from New York, at Meridian small air and pleasant Weather. Distance 132. Lat. observed 48.23. Long. 26.36.
