At 4 o'clock this afternoon Sir Wm Howe left New York and arrived at Amboy at 10 this night. Also the Engineers Stores &. Account received (privately) from the Indians that 700 of the [Chetig——] will be ready to join us as soon as we open the communication—Doubt it very much.
